The Overnight Recovery Package is perfect for clients who:

  • Clients recovering alone or traveling from out of town who need professional overnight support in the absence of friends or family

  • Post-operative patients with recent procedures requiring quiet monitoring and comfort care, such as tummy tucks, BBLs, or breast augmentations

  • Individuals who may be anxious, sensitive to pain, or experience nausea and prefer to have someone available through the night

  • Those discharged late in the day from a surgical center who need safe overnight observation

  • Anyone seeking peace of mind knowing a trained caregiver or nurse is present to assist with hygiene, mobility, medication, or comfort needs

Caregiver

Client Rate: $95/hour

Caregiver Option Available: For clients who do not require clinical oversight, this package can also be delivered by a trained caregiver at a lower rate. Caregivers provide non-medical overnight support focused on comfort, safety, and rest assistance.

Caregiver Services Include:

  • Personal hygiene and mobility assistance

  • Comfort positioning and rest monitoring

  • Light meal prep and hydration setup

  • Linen changes, trash removal, and space tidying

  • Emotional reassurance and gentle companionship

  • (Nursing):

    • 12–14 hours of overnight care by LVN or RN

    • Wellness check-ins through the night

    • Medication reminders (LVN) or administration (RN)

    • Vital signs monitoring (RN only)

    • Drain observation and basic dressing checks (if needed)

    • Light housekeeping or meal prep for morning

    • Comfort positioning and mobility assistance

    • Emotional reassurance & safety monitoring

    (Caregiver):

    • 12–14 hours of non-medical overnight care

    • Assistance with hygiene, toileting, and repositioning

    • Light snack/meal prep and hydration setup

    • Linen changes, trash removal, and space refresh

    • Quiet supervision and emotional support

    • Morning setup with basic recovery tasks

    • Prescription medications (unless administered by RN)

    • Supplies, garments, groceries, or personal items (client-provided)

    • Advanced wound care, injections, or IV support (RN may assist separately if booked)

    • Daytime care

    Clients are responsible for providing all supplies. Our team is happy to assist with setup and restocking during your visit.

    • Next-morning handoff to day caregiver or nurse - ($100+)

    • Extended hours - $135/hour (LVN) / $155/hour (RN) / $95/hour Caregiver

    • Private driver to/from surgery ($150+)

    • Lymphatic massage booking & coordination**

    • IV hydration therapy scheduling**

    • Post-op meal or grocery delivery coordination**

    **While we handle the booking and coordination of services like lymphatic massage, IV therapy, and post-op meals, the cost of the service itself (e.g., therapist, IV provider, food delivery) is billed separately by the vendor. Her Recovery Co. may charge a coordination or concierge fee (usually starting at $50–$150) for handling the logistics, depending on the add-on and complexity.

What to Expect During Your Visit - (LVN or RN)

Your overnight nurse provides a clinically attentive and comforting presence throughout your recovery night. Ideal for clients who require medication management, drain/wound monitoring, or general medical oversight during vulnerable hours.

Here’s what to expect:

Arrival & Setup

  • The nurse reviews your surgical plan, post-op instructions, medication schedule, and comfort needs.

  • Your recovery space is adjusted for easy access to essentials and clinical readiness.

Clinical Monitoring & Care

  • Vitals are taken and tracked periodically (RN only).

  • Drain output is measured, dressings may be inspected or changed as needed.

  • Medication reminders (LVN) or administration (RN) per your surgeon’s orders.

Comfort & Mobility Support

  • Help with repositioning, pain assessment, and gentle overnight movement.

  • Bathroom assistance or hygiene help if needed during the night.

Overnight Supervision

  • Quiet, professional presence with hourly wellness check-ins.

  • Immediate response to any discomfort, nausea, or emotional distress.

Morning Wrap-Up

  • Light breakfast/snack setup, linen refresh, and comfort adjustments.

  • Detailed update for family, caregiver, or next nurse on duty.

What to Expect During Your Visit - Caregiver (Non-Clinical)

Your overnight caregiver is focused on non-medical support, offering gentle supervision, comfort care, and peace of mind for clients who don’t require nursing.

Here’s what to expect:

Arrival & Comfort Setup

  • The caregiver helps prepare your sleep area and recovery supplies.

  • Personal hygiene support (changing, toileting, light bathing) as needed.

Rest & Support Monitoring

  • Calm, reassuring presence throughout the night.

  • Assistance with repositioning or guided restroom trips.

  • Light emotional support if you're anxious or in discomfort.

Housekeeping Touches

  • Light tidying, trash removal, linen change if needed.

  • Hydration reminders or snack setup for early morning.

Morning Transition

  • Freshening up support, smooth wake-up routine, and optional handoff to next care provider.

  • Notes or verbal update left for your nurse, family member, or concierge.
