Client Rate: $100/hour caregiver, $135/hour LVN
The Essential Recovery Package can be delivered by either a trained caregiver or a licensed vocational nurse, depending on your recovery needs.
A caregiver is ideal if you need non-medical support — such as hygiene assistance, mobility help, light meals, and companionship.
An LVN is recommended if your care involves clinical needs like medication reminders, drain monitoring, or vital sign checks.
The Essential Recovery Package is perfect for clients who:
Clients who need moderate hands-on care
Post-op clients with drains or early wound healing needs
Those without nearby support who require longer recovery assistance

Clients are responsible for providing all supplies. Our team is happy to assist with setup and restocking during your visit.

**While we handle the booking and coordination of services like lymphatic massage, IV therapy, and post-op meals, the cost of the service itself (e.g., therapist, IV provider, food delivery) is billed separately by the vendor. Her Recovery Co. may charge a coordination or concierge fee (usually starting at $50–$150) for handling the logistics, depending on the add-on and complexity.

What to Expect During Your Visit
Your 8-hour Essential Recovery visit is designed to offer more comprehensive, hands-on support — including light clinical observation — so you can feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout your healing.
Here’s what a typical 8-hour Essential Recovery visit looks like:
Arrival & Check-In
Your caregiver or nurse arrives on time, reviews your recovery setup, and checks in with you.
If you're receiving LVN care, they’ll review any post-op instructions, medication timing, and drain/wound needs.
We ensure you're comfortable, calm, and fully supported before beginning care.
Personal Hygiene & Mobility Support
Assistance with bathing or sponge cleansing, oral care, and toileting
Help with compression garment changes and wound garment checks
Safe repositioning and guided movement to support circulation and reduce stiffness
Meal & Hydration Assistance
Light, post-op meal prep using your available groceries
Hydration encouragement and setup of drinks/snacks for later
Ensuring you’re nourished, comfortable, and safely seated/reclined
Home or Hotel Tidying
Trash removal, bed-making, linen changes
Restocking supplies within reach
Organizing your care area to reduce movement and strain
Emotional Reassurance & Support
Quiet, attentive presence or conversation based on your comfort
Emotional check-ins to help you feel relaxed, heard, and nurtured
Coordination with your nurse, loved one, or care team if needed
Closing & Care Transition
Final comfort setup (snacks, meds, remotes, pillows within reach)
Notes on your recovery for the care team, if requested
Clean, respectful departure — leaving you rested and prepared for continued healing
Clinical Monitoring (If Nurse Present)
Monitoring of vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, heart rate)
Drain output observation and dressing checks
Medication reminders (or administration by LVN under your doctor’s orders)
Notation of changes to report to your surgeon if needed
